![]() ![]() Eggman: Angel Island Revisited, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, God of War: Ragnarok, Sonic and the Fallen Star and Suikoden were all on my Gaming Challenge 2023 list, so that's a few more taken care of.įirst month in which i finished university, so I had a lot of time to play. I'm going to stop forcing myself to try and play it now. I've tried multiple playstyles and methods over the years, and it just never clicked with me past around 20 hours/25 levels. It's really not that great (give me Oblivion any day), even modded up to the nines to fix and polish up a lot of the flaws. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - PC, 28/3 (Retired) - I'm going to catch flak for this one, but I'm permanently retiring Skyrim after over 10 years of trying to get through it, time and time again. Wasn't too bad, but some of the platforming was a real pain due to the changed physics and controls. Eggman: Angel Island Revisited - PC, 21/3 - A short little mod set as a 'what if Eggman was running through Sonic 3 instead of Sonic. I followed a guide to get all 108 stars, and am looking forward to moving onto Suikoden 2 at some point. I enjoyed the story (although most of what you saw of the main antagonist was that their villainy was described offscreen rather than seeing it happen) and the music, and liked finding my way around the world (although thank god for the world map and teleportation being added later in the game, it made traversal a lot easier. Suikoden - emulated/PS1, 21/3 - Glad to have finally played through this masterpiece, although I can certainly see where Konami could polish it up for the rerelease later in the year. After a few weeks I think I've classed it as retired for now. After that it felt a bit 'same old, same old' though, and I stopped looking to go back to it. Two Point Campus - PC, 12/3 (Retired) - I enjoyed the time I spent with TPC, having 3 starred the first 4 campuses. The feedback for hitting bosses felt weak though. Generally good, a little pastelly in colour palette but had some fun level design. Sonic and the Fallen Star - PC, 10/3 - the latest Sonic game that I cooped with a friend of mine. I found myself more invested in Brok and Sindri's story than Ragnarok itself. Ragnarok was a bit wanting though, as it was quite short in comparison to the journey of getting there. I had a lot of fun with this one and have said elsewhere how much I loved the story, characters and music. God of War: Ragnarok - PS5, 3/3 - 100% completed, it's been a while since I've sat down and wanted to explore every facet of a game, complete every sidequest, etc. Just a few completions for me this month - I also ended up retiring one or two. ![]()
